Rising Stars in Engineering in Health
The University of Pennsylvania, Columbia University, Johns Hopkins University, Cornell University and Boston University are joining forces to co-host the 7th Annual “Rising Stars in Engineering in Health” workshop. This two day event will feature the work of a small number of outstanding scholars and scientists from across the country and beyond.

Rising Stars Workshop Application
We welcome applicants who are:
- interested in the intersection of engineering and medicine/ health
- postdoctoral fellows/research scientists
- graduate students 1-2 years away from applying for a faculty position
All applicants in the domains of engineering or health or both are welcome to apply. In order for our selection committee to make its final choice of speakers (Rising Stars), we are asking all nominees to provide the information outlined in the application form. We hope to provide a travel fellowship to the selected Rising Stars in order to cover/offset the costs of travel and lodging to the Workshop.
The application form will remain open until July 31, 2026. Candidates are encouraged to apply early in order to get full consideration.
